The Kirtlington Pinhooking Syndicate was set up in 2002. The syndicate is managed by the stud and the purchasing team is Chris Budgett, Will and Sandie Edmeades. We concentrate on the Tattersalls December Sales where we inspect over 1000 foals annually.

In 2002 we purchased 5 foals including Reqqa, who was a 2 year old stakes placed winner and one of the over-winter favourites for the 2000 Guineas. Sadly he died after an accident on the gallops. Two of our other purchases won and a fourth was placed.

In 2003 we purchased 6 foals the highlight being Sir Percy (winner of the Derby, the Dewhurst etc) and Hunter Street (winner of the GR 3 Cornwallis Stakes) and two winners to date.

This brings our total to 7 winners from 11 pinhooks, including one Classic winner, one Stakes winner and one Stakes placed winner.

The Class of 2004 numbered 4 and so far we stand at one winner from one runner, lets hope the run continues.
