The Stud

The stud lies in the heart of Oxfordshire and covers over 350 acres. We take great pride in our paddocks and rely on the services of Roger Allman and 'The Farm Clinic' of Indiana, USA for our soil analysis.

The stud is divided into three units;

Blakeney

Named after the Derby winner and Champion 2yo sire. Purpose built for youngstock and sales preparation featuring:

    . 20 traditional stables in 2 'horse-shoe' yards
    . Full size school/loose barn 
    . Horse walker
    . Lunge ring (with Martin Collins surface)
    . 10 small turnout paddocks ideal for yearling preparation and horses out of training
    . 3 bedroom bungalow
    . 80 acres of paddocks
Morston

Named after the 1973 Derby winner. Broodmare barn and foaling unit featuring:

    . 20 stables in a spacious well ventilated American barn
    . 4 fully equipped foaling boxes with CCTV
    . Veterinary area with crush
    . Sitting up room
    . Full size indoor school ensuring all weather turnout for mares and foals
    . Nursery Paddocks
    . 3 bedroom bungalow
    . 90 acres of paddocks
Cley

Named after Blakeney and Morston's half sister, featuring:

    . 40 stables in two American barns
    . Stallion unit with two stables and two adjacent paddocks
    . Covering yard with teasing area 
    . Veterinary area with crush
    . Indoor school
    . Agricultural unit with cattle barn, workshop and storage for machinery, straw etc.
    . 2 houses for staff
    . 140 acres of paddocks

We also have an isolation unit 3 miles from the stud with stables and 10 acres of paddocks.
